[This is a copy of the front page for my players guide, I'll try and keep it in sync.]

Version: 1.2 (Draft)
This site is intended to aid players in my ongoing RPG settings. Elements of this campaign started in the D&D games I ran over Christmas Break, 1977, around Redding California.
Unless specified for limited knowledge all materials are 'commonly available player knowledge' that can be obtained with a reasonable research cost or time investment. Ask me about specific materials if you have a question.
I'd like to dedicate this to the many hours spent reading in my wayward youth, as well as my influences from comics, Classic D&D, Tunnels & Trolls, Empire of the Petal Throne and the incomparable Arduin of Dave Hargrave. My Dad (Ray Tharp) taught me improvisational story telling as a child, starting me on the road to creating material on the fly. I had no idea making stories up on the fly was hard - my Dad made storytelling look easy, so I just went with it when chance and fate threw me into the GM's seat. (And, Eric, you had your part!)
The Gates on Dakalla connect to several older game locations - Amar and Kampar in the Romsar system, Shalaska on Martins World, Kalehadra and many more I'll be reminded of later. Some may even be documented as I find fragments
A roll call of current and previous players by first name, last if known -
Those who I knew have been creative GM's are marked (GM's who created and ran a campaign). Running a packaged setting is not a full GM credit, as I'm biased. Created world names are in [Bold]. An asterisk after a name denotes a gamer from the Redding games in 1977, double asterisk is the California Maritime Academy crew from the 1977-1978 period. Great memories! Character names I remember or have in my game notes are added. A few characters, like Capt. Marc, have been played by more than one player over the years. The rolls are over 80 players so far, that's a pretty good start. Some of the convention players and the San Luis Obispo crowd I may never remember as the notes are gone... Hail Taaxii!
There are more I'll add as I remember, and a few on the rolls of shame ;-) Drop me a line at rbtharp@eventine.com if I've forgotten someone important or a favorite character name.
